Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA) is the flagship startup program funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). The main mission of the program is to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and ultimately build a vibrant international tech startup ecosystem in Taiwan.
TTA hopes to attract global and domestic talents that focus on AI, software, semiconductors, and actively supports the growth of technology industries by bringing in startups, accelerators, venture capital, and corporate partners under one roof; thus providing access to disruptive technologies and expertise from across the globe to create value for new innovative ventures.
The delegation´s visit to TTA laid a founding stone for further development of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems in the Czech Republic and Taiwan, promote a deeper connection between the two countries' creative teams, investors, and enterprises, and work together to build a true innovation economy.
The first ideas on how to bring the Czech-Taiwanese cooperation further draw lessons learned from similar cooperation with other countries, for example, raising funds that could invest exclusively in enterprises of both countries. The venture fund between Taiwan and New Zealand has operated since 2013 with significant achievements.
