The recent trade mission TWN:ROK:CZ 2023 aided the expansion of the Czech-Taiwanese cooperation in the regions as the councilors of Brno city approved cooperation with their Taiwanese city Taoyuan.
The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding took place as the Mayor of Brno city, Markéta Vaňková, joined the delegation, led by Markéta Pekarová Adamová, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies.
Brno has outlined plans to collaborate with the city of Taoyuan in various areas, including business, science, research, education, environmental protection, and tourism.
