According to Taiwan News, the recent trade mission TWN:ROK:CZ 2023 has resulted in plans to strengthen Czech-Taiwanese cooperation in the semiconductor industry.

The partnership will include scholarships and teacher training to help the Czech Republic establish a chip design research center and train semiconductor engineers. Additionally, the National Taipei University of Technology has signed an agreement with Czech Technical University in Prague to invest in research related to semiconductors, sustainable energy, smart cities, the IoT, and information security monitoring.
